If you’re like me you are seeing a lot of advertisements online and in print about portable power stations, which are sometimes referred to as “solar generators.” Well, the ones I’ve seen don’t “generate” power, rather store it. These devices are convenient for off-grid power and boondocking. Using a lot of items I already had I recently built my own 800-watt power station.
